Sensitive Robots 2

Here is the second robot in the series. Still have some touchups to do, and also the picture is bad. I am finding it really hard to photograph these guys.

Sensitive Robots..

Ok, so I am on fire with this whole art-updating thing. This is the first in a series of Sensitive Robots. I got the idea when drawing "Tattoos" on Donovan and I ended up drawing this weird little robot with a heart. Then I just did a ton of robots that were all doing something human (walking dogs, dreaming of hamburgers, carrying a shovel, smoking from a hookah, ect.) I got really into it, because humans are becoming more like robots emotionally, so what if there were robots that became more emotionally human?
But, all philosophisizing aside, here's some pics.

This is the original guy, drawn on Donovan's side in brush pen:

Then, here is the painted version. It's acrylic and brush pen on a 5x8 canvas. I love this little guy.

So now I'm gonna go do some more. Also, I am totally open to suggestions of things that humanized robots might want to do.

Tiger Update

So, I have pretty much finished my watercolor! I will probably play with it some more, but I have several things I want to work on and what seems like little time to work on them.

Also, here is another picture with flash to help the contrast show up and undo the blur a little. The colors are off on this one, though.

The Tigers Have Spoken

Here's something I am working on. This is only half of the picture, there is a woman on the other side but I am not sure how well she will turn out at this point, so I may end up cutting the paper in half if it turns out she sucks. Anyway, this is me using acrylics as watercolors, one of my favorite mediums to use. Unfortunately it's not on watercolor paper, so I have to be really stingy with the water.

New stuff & Etsy

(Brush Pen & Prismacolor on paper)

So, I am plotting my emergence on Etsy.com, but it hasn't happened yet. When I get some more projects finished and get more familiar with the printing process to sell prints, I will let you know when my shop is up.

Until then here is my newest. It is a portrait of Noel Fielding, but could really be a number of people including Graham Parsons and Alison Mosshart. XD
